Arrowhead Country Club is a very playable and enjoyable course. The water lined fairways and dog legs are a nice change from the traditional desert courses in Arizona. GPS would have been helpful in the carts to help determine the right club to take water and traps out of play. The staff was great, the course was in great shape, it was challenging but not impossible, and it was wide open! What a great place to spend a Saturday!

Arrowhead CC is a semi-private (open Mondays to outside play and tournaments) country club with a very spacious clubhouse. Amenities include workout facilities, dining room, member's grill, lounge and locker rooms. The course is an above average layout but not very challenging. Their best holes, in my opinion, are #2, #7, #12, and #18. #2 is a reachable par 5 if you cut off the bunkers on the right-side with your drive. The green is split down the middle with a hill that runs the ball to the right. When the pin is front left, it is very tough to get it close in two. #7 is a medium to long par three and is about 210 from the tips if memory serves right. When the pin is back left, your landing area to get it close shrinks to about 20ft x 15ft. Go for the middle of the green, have an up-hill bender, take your three and move on. #18 is a medium to short par5 that you can play two ways. Go for it in two over water to a peninsula green, or play safe to the right and have a 30yrd carry over water. The course is rarely in immaculate shape, but not terrible shape either. Unless one of the grounds crew drips oil all over every green...again. Local knowledge about Arrowhead CC: On some holes there are targets to play to off the teebox. If you see two palm trees in a V-formation, that is your target.

It's in absolutely pristine condition. They have a modified 90 degree rule where you have to drive through stakes on the rough and then you drive on the fairway the whole way and then you have to go out through the exit stakes. The greens are absolutely immaculate. The truest and fastest greens I've played. A beautiful, traditional course.

Hit it straight. Fast greens, moderate hazards. Intermediate course.

It's a nice challenging layout with tough fast greens. Great service from the cartguys and food and beverage cart.
