There are two things I enjoy at this course, the Back 9 and the price. The front 9 is nothing special and usually pretty beaten up while the back 9 has some fun holes and some water and trees that make it interesting. Great course to bring a friend who is just starting to play the game.

The course is part of the Phoenix City Courses. It is very fair to play for all level of golfers. Greens are in great shape but fairways a little rough. Overall great value for the price.

18 hole - City of Phoenix municipal golf course. Price is right and the greens are in great shape. Downside, this course was built on a landfill and therefore some of the fairways are not level or have difficulty in keeping grass on them. This course gets a lot of play but I prefer other alternatives. The backside is much better than the front in my opinion.

Excellent value for the money. Wonderful design with lots of big, tough greens. Unlike, say, Encanto, there are plenty of water, washes, doglegs, traps and trees. No "giveaway" holes -- they all have some kind of challenge that must be navigated. If they upped the maintenance (it's not bad, just o.k.) and had resort-style service, it would be a 4-star course for sure. In the meantime, if you look for deals on EZLinks or Golfnow you can play a challenging course for $25-$35 in high season and even $8-$9 in summer, which makes it a tremendous value.

It's challenging and a well maintained golf course. There's a creek that goes through that if you hit your ball in it's gone and it's hilly. It's a pretty course right in the middle of Phoenix.

It's a hilly course and it's got a big ravine down the center of it that used to be a waste site that they reclaimed. They keep the greens up very well and the fairways are clean and green...it's a good course, I like it!

Berth good course for the price. Very challenging, a couple of long holes. Not too many hazards but some water.

I really don't like the front 9 at all. The greens on the front 9 are sunken. I wasn't that crazy about the sand traps either - they don't have good sand in them. They have pebbles in them. I like the back 9. Back 9 is a really good layout and scenic. The front end is not interesting at all.

pack a lunch! this is a long course with a lot of par 5s. a lot of water hazards. advanced course. watch out for the geese! i got attacked by a wacky goose on the 12th hole by the water. when golfcourse geese go wild...get out of the way!
