We are very proud of what Sun City Country Club is today and where it's going quickly. The course is in great shape and it's turning heads. Greens are now at a respectable speed and work is beginning on remodeling bunkers soon. If you haven't played in a while, we think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Course is very friendly, but more yardage markers would be helpful. Pro shop staff is friendly.

Over all condition is very good, fairways are in smooth and the green are not to fast not to slow and don't move as much as you think. Course is a good challenge, stay away from the trees. Fun course to play.

had a GREAT TIME THE COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE

This course has withstood the test of time. I can only imagine what it was like when it was young and the trees were saplings. I can see where this was a much easier course to negotiate. It is nice to play a mature course with good greens and fairways (even in the summer heat). The now mature trees give shade for the summer golfer. Pick your poison here. Play it all the way back and it takes on a tighter appearance. Play the short tees and avoid much of the timber for the shorter hitter or the beginner. There is something here for every caliber of golfer. It is not easy but it is a fair test.

Fun course. The course is in excellent shape and condition. Lots of shade, and challenging tee boxes (from the blues).

Trust these reviews. The greens were as close to perfect as they could be. Wall to wall grass on this course with mature trees.

I ENOY THE COURSE WITH THEIR MANY BEAUTIFUL SHADE TREES WHICH ACTUALLY KEEPS YOU COOLER. THE GREENS ARE GREAT THE FAIRWAYS ARE IN TRANSITION BUT YOUR BALL GETS MUCH MORE DISTANCE. GREAT STAFF AND COLD DRINKS.

Great course! It's turning into a place of all ages. Don't turn away because of the name. Sun City Country Club is not a private course and has great deals for tee times. Check it out, they even have a beverage cart on the weekends.

A great shaded and challenging course. Lots of friendly people, members and public. I love the fact that the course reminds me of back East. Looks beautiful in the fall. I am a 15 handicap for 9 holes, just started playing 3 years ago and this is the course I learned to play on. Just love it!!!

Quite windy today, but what a treat to play a course that's in transition from overseed to bermuda that was in really good shape, especially the greens. Man, they're smooth. Running about 9, but really perfect. The folks who play Sun City regularly do a good job repairing their ball marks, which makes putting a treat!! Sun City CC is a shot makers course...lots of big trees and doglegs...nice challenge for sure.

What a beautiful day to play golf. I'm going to enjoy the cooler weather cause we all know whats coming. Remember, Sun City Country Club is line with huge shade trees so come out, play the course and enoy a great day of golf.

Some folks would think Sun City CC is too easy, or not your typical AZ desert golf course, which is true, but definitely not "easy". The course offers a multitude of difficulties with doglegs, trees crowned greens and lots of slope. Well played shots can lead to good scoring, but that's exactly what it takes. The course is in great shape now and the greens are perfect. Slightly firm, but true and maybe a bit slow. Overall, it's a fun test and I would recommend anyone who wants a good golf experience, to play Sun City CC.

Greens run very true, but several are always littered with leaves from overhanging or nearby trees - evidently never swept; fairways in good shape. Sand traps have shallow, hard sand, and really in need of refurbishing. Course is otherwise very golfer-friendly - and 20 degrees cooler than others in summertime, with all the mature trees. Fun, but challenging to play. Friendly staff.

Great Course. Greens in good shape. A little slow. I have played here for 20 years off and on and it is in good playing shape right now. Staff is courteous. Clubhouse has great beer available (ie Stella) for reasonable prices and good food after a round.

Great golf course. I've been playing it off and on since 1965. Friendly people and great value. Rather easy and usually in good shape.
