We are very proud of what Sun City Country Club is today and where it's going quickly. The course is in great shape and it's turning heads. Greens are now at a respectable speed and work is beginning on remodeling bunkers soon. If you haven't played in a while, we think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Fun course, the trees make your tee placeent critical. The sand traps leave a little to be desired though.

The sand traps are a in poor playing condition and a real eye sore with unmanicured edges and sand extending outside of trap area. The course has no rangers or marshalls and play becomes slow at times. The practice area is uncontrolled and persons hit from where ever they choose. The Pro and Pro shop persons are great.

Even thought it getting hotter and the winter grass is begining to disappear, the course is still in great shape, greens are excellent, on scale 1 to 10, they are a ten. There some great deals as well on greenfees if you are willing to check out the web site!

The course is a great layout with lots of trees and just enough water to make it a challenge. The bunkers and traps are dirt and gravel, no sand, so don't go in them. A beverage cart would be a great addition. I have played it a dozen times and the pace has always been good. Worth the money if you get one of there deals.

The trees and narrowness of the fairways make this course challenging but fair. Very lush greens. Nice clothes in the pro shop with friendly staff. Love the chance to warm up on the driving range.

Best kept secret golf course in Phoenix, never an issue with a tee time

Nice change of pace from Sun City Rec courses. A tight, well conditioned layout that challenges even the low handicapper. Great venue for women and juniors as well. Greens are some of the better I've golfed in the area.

Great course for the money! The mature trees make it a challenging course. You don't get courses with may mature trees in Az.

I used to play here occasionally, but since Tom and his crew took over it is a whole different ball game. The course looks and plays beautifully and his staff are very professional and friendly. Keep up the good work.

It is rare these days to have a golfing experience where you are always treated as a "member" of the golfing community, instead of a paying customer. When Sun City Country Club open their doors to the public they never stopped treating everyone like an exclusive member. The course is always in great condition and the people friendly and helpful.

The fairways are in great shape, the greens are in great shape and the sand traps actually have sand in them. What more could you want? Maybe a few less trees. Somewhat narrow driving lanes. Need to hit it straight or second shot is under tree limbs. Course is very fair for all playing levels.

Sun City is a great golf course for anyone between great and poor skills. It is more open and able to support a few bad shots but the dog legs in the fairways and the lots of water hazards make it a challenge. I've never played a long round there and the people are amazingly friendly. I am 21 and love the feel of the course. Anywhere I can play for a reasonable price is A-ok with me!

Greens are excellent. Fairways are OK, most have grass but it is not very thick so ball does not sit up. However, right now the grass is not cut too close. Last year (2012) they cut the fairways close and lost much of the grass for the summer. The tees are very small and as such, generally dug up with divots and not much grass. Course needs to replace most of the tees to provide less elevated teeboxes and more playable surface area.

I always feel comfortable coming back to this course. Even with all the trees lining the fairways I know I can play a rewarding round and post a decent score. I always take friends to play here and buy any online specials I ever see for SCCC.

One of my favorite courses in the Suncity area. The back 9 is one of the best.

I played this golf course twice once in early fall and once in early winter. Both times I played from the Back tees. Course is not long but from the back tees it makes worth while to challenge yourself. Early fall the greens were a little choppy, in the winter early mid morning the greens were a tad slow but true as the morning progressed the greens got slicker and at times tough to keep on the greens. For the money this course is well worth it especially for the mid to high handicap players. If you have a group of friends wanting to play a golf course on a moments notice chances are you can get on that day or the next day. Local High schools use this course for there golf matches.
