The Golf of Scottsdale is one of my favorites. My in-laws are members up there and I try to take advantage of that every opportunity that I can. It’s a great course, right up there on the hills. No houses, that’s kind of why I like it, it’s a little more privacy. No one’s watching me, so I don’t have anyone really to embarrass myself in front of. I just like it, some people say that the some of the holes are a little bit hokey, but you get right up there in the hills and the views are just incredible. The sunsets, depending on when you play, are obviously very nice. I love when you get up there, you can see your ball launch off up into the mountains and then obviously land in the water or the desert, which is where my ball typically lands, but it’s a beautiful course.

Almost joined here. Membership has dropped and monthly rates are lower but the membership dropping may be an issue. Beautiful setting, front 9 is walkable, There is only one hole that is just not right-#15. There is little to like about that hole. Otherwise it is up there esthetically with Estancia. Pace of play of course is great and they have caddies if you want them.

Semi-generous desert course. Medium elevation changes in superb condition.
