This course was particularly disappointing. The pro shop was unfriendly, the tee boxes a mess with broken tees, and worst of all no yardage markers whatsoever. You have to purchase GPS (outrageous) as well they had sanded the greens and did not advise prior to the game. Pace was ok, we'll marshalled. Definitely a no play again. The bunkers had wet sand in the ones near the green which buried the ball.

It's all about timing with this course... If you go during the weekend you are in for a very long round (4hrs plus) even during the summer. I would only play this course if you can on a weekday. There are some pretty sweet holes on this course and it is worht playing... on a weekday.

It can be difficult, it feels under-maintained at times, the sand traps are horrible. The staff is helpful and friendly. The greens are awesome and in great shape.

One of the better layouts for a public course. Good greens and design.

Played 12/26/11...pro shop staff is friendly but the range was in rough shape, the layout is interesting but more difficult to navigate since they removed GPS. The Canadian geese while nice to look at, leave their droppings all over the course, especially around the greens!!! Beware or where you walk and place your clubs! On a day that had a stacked & packed tee sheet, several hole placements were in some crazy places and made the 5 hour round that much less enjoyable.

Great course for someone learning the game! They have great specials for kids under the age of 18-- for something to do during the summer, they used to have "memberships" under 50 for unlimited golf, buckets for like 2 bucks. Been a while since I have actually hit the links at this course, but I would recommend it for sure.

The Legend at Arrowhead turned out to be a far more interesting course than my first impression. The carts were older, the driving range was average, but once on the course I went from doubter to believer. This is an older course designed when developers left room for a real golf course. Its challenging, but even the women in our group said they would happily come back. There were some minor condition issues when we played (dry fairway areas and unraked traps), but the greens were excellent. This course is well worth what you'll pay to play.

The course is in good condition, the greens are fast. The fairways are tight so that's the toughest part and biggest challenge.

It's a pretty nice course, the greens were a little dry and pretty fast when I played in March.

The greens were pretty true and relatively fast. The fairways were in good condition. It'd be nice if they had a little more even tee boxes which is my pet peeve. I thought it was a good course.

Watch out for the lakes. Greens are in great shape this time of year and the fairways are pretty lush. It's really a good course...the cafe needs expanding it's a little too small.
