Scottsdale’s two newest courses can be found at Troon North Golf Club, which hold the top golf ranking in Arizona! Tom Weiskopf led a two-year project, which transcended typical course renovations. He created an entirely new playing experience by blending the two courses together and changing the sequence in which the holes are played.
We are proud to celebrate that Golf Magazine course raters have spoken by naming the “New” Pinnacle course #1 in Arizona and #21 in the nation. The “New” Monument course has been named #4 in Arizona and #44 in the nation. If you’re playing for the first time or returning to play the new layouts, you are sure to experience the best in Arizona golf!

Troon North,an iconic name in Arizona public golf. Got an invite to play last week and couldn't pass it up. Backed up on the first tee for about 40 minutes, they apparently had a frost delay in the morning.played the Monumnt course Tough first hole- don't lose it right off the tee, there is a nasty arroyo and lots of golf ball- eating vegetation. There are probably no tougher tee shots all day. The course has condos and luxury homes lining the fairways. No longer do you feel out in the desert when playing here, as you did years ago. Pace of play was fair, course condition was good. Overall, still a really good course, but I prefer the WeKoPa duo for their uninterrupted vistas.

Played here on August 17th, 2012. What can I say that hasn't already been said. The golf course was tremendous! Everything was well manicured, green and heavily watered. Some holes my tee shots plugged in the fairway, or backed up because it was so wet. These were the best greens I've putted on all year. For $50.00 in the summer to be treated like a king is wonderful. Played the Monument Course and can't wait to get back to play the Pinnacle!!!

Troon North continues to be the standard in Scottsdale Daily Fee golf. We played the Monument course this week, and as always with Troon North, the course was in immaculate condition. The middle of July is not normally a time to find such good condition. The grrens we just perfect, slightly slow by Troon North conditions, but excellent. The fairways and tees also excellent. The Monument course is my favorite of the two courses with a fantastic blend of par 5 and par 3 holes. Great views, great service and great golf, not more to say! Also, the Troon Card is a great value again with the promotions they have. It also makes the summer rate that much better! Enjoy this one as I did!!

I have played Troon North Pinnacle Course the last three Sundays and it has been Awesome to say the least. The course itself it very demanding, you must keep it on the green stuff to score well. The greens are bent grass greens!!! Almost every hole has a view to kill for. The practice area is top notch as well.

The course was in great shape, and there is not a bad lie whether in the fairway or rough. The greens played pretty slow, so they leave you with putts that you can read and make. As it gets warmer out, don't forget to take a club with you when you go looking for your ball in the desert. You may spot a snake or two. All in all a great course that is kept in great condition.

If you're visting it's definitely one to play. I'd put WeKoPa in that category as well. It can be a bit pricey, but is generally in good shape with great topography and pace of play except when it's cart path only is generally good. Has some forced carries to consider so if you're not used to a desert course, you may want to play some cheaper balls and let them go after you hit them into the desert.

Fantastic time was had by all once again. Thank you for the hospitality, we're looking forward to returning. It's not overwhelming, the course is not very difficult compared to other desert courses. The views are spectacular and the landscape too...also the cart girls are pretty hot.
